Accessible cabin on a lake

Looking for an ADA accessible cabin on a lake so my husband can fish and I can have an accessible bathroom with minimal stairs. Need it within 1 day drive of NW Indiana. Also pet friendly. Any suggestions!?

We don’t have a particular place in mind, just not with a lake that feeds from the Mississippi River due to Asian carp infestation. Anywhere within, say 8 hr drive from Chesterton IN, so MN, WI, MI, KY, TN, IL, OH.

I don’t have any specific recommendations but I have had good luck using either www.vrbo.com or www.airbnb.com . You can use filters for your searches for all kinds of accessibility features you may need. Vrbo tends to be entire houses and airbnb is a mix of entire houses and portions of houses

My wife and i along with her family have been able to find places such as what you are looking for off season with no probl on vrbo

This website has a number of beautiful lakeside accommodations. There are so many I’d like to visit!!
