Accessible things to do

#1

I’m traveling next week from Minnesota to the Corpus Christi area of Texas. Any fun things to do anywhere up and down I35?

That’s a great question, and sounds like a fun road trip!

So it looks like Austin, Dallas and San Antonio are on your route? Or did you want to avoid the big cities?
Here’s some stuff to do:

We’re about to add another +10 cities onto accessibleGO including San Antonio, so please stay tuned!

And hopefully some of our community members will have ideas for you that are off the beaten path.

thanks,
Miriam

Hi. My husband is thinking about this for you.

We know there is Gruene Hall and the Texas Rangers Museum.

Oh my, there is so much to do! We took that trip a long time ago with our son in the opposite direction. He was swimming in championships in Corpus and then we traveled up to Coon Rapids. Anyway… The first two places we stopped on the way here are the World’s Biggest Ball of Twine and The Spam Museum. You can go to “Roadside America” and plan your trip. It will let you see all the fun stuff along your route and it will let you save up to 75 places. The Dr. Pepper Museum is in Waco I think. Here in San Antonio we have the River Walk and Haunted Tours World History Sites, The Missions, The Alamo, just a bunch of stuff. There’s a lot in St. Louis too! Enjoy your trip!
