Flying with a Halo Bolt Charger

From a community member:

We are about to take our first flight since my husband has been in a power chair. I always carry a Halo charger with us for emergencies. Has anyone flown with one before? Any problems? Thanks in advance!

Hi hi! While we’re unsure of the wattage here overall, generally speaking, yes Halo chargers can be brought on planes. It must be in a carry on bag vs. a checked bag, but other than that, yes they are FAA approved!

I found this snippet from TSAs website.

Carry On Bags: Yes

Checked Bags: No

Portable chargers or power banks containing a lithium ion battery must be packed in carry-on bags.

For more information, see the FAA guidance on portable rechargers.
