I went to las vegas for a wedding recently at a resort I had a difficult time getting from my hotel to wedding the elevators that I needed next to the bridges to cross the roads were either not working or there were people sitting or standing in front of the elevator doors doing drugs or looking like they were waiting for someone to get closer to rob them being alone it was quite scary there were multi police officers but they would look over there at the drugged and homeless people and not do anything its a free for all/anything goes town several times during my stay I had to go in the nearest hotel/casino and try to find the nearest elevator then figure out how to get back out to the bridge with the hotel/casinos being as large as they are this was not a easy task just thought I’d let folks what theyd be up against at minimum maybe download maps of the insides of hotels to your phone to help you find elevators when you cant use the ones outside at the bridges it was a difficult scary experience if I ever return I wont go unless I have enough extra funds to afford disability taxies/transportation which can get real expensive real quick
It is sad that those who are sworn to protect us no longer care and have let the degenerate ruin everything
I had a really good time in Vegas and never had a hard time finding a way around dirty elevators. Just staying street level and crossing at intersections with throngs of people seem very safe.
I did that when I could but there were places where you could not cross at street level there were not crossing lights or other people crossing the streets
There are building navigational maps for the blind/VI community that can help anyone in unfamiliar places. Just download from any of the resources sites for ACB, AFB, NFB, or try branded sites under “navigation assistance” Many convention centers, casinos and mega hotels have wired navigation “tags” for exits, restrooms, etc. The hotel desk should know which apps work with their guidance.

I was able to find some street level crossings and used the monorail a lot which was quite accessible and much cheaper than taxis
