Snorkeling in Key West and Bahamas

We are headed to Key West and Nassau Bahamas. Both of us have experience in snorkeling, hubby uses a rolator. In the past, in Jamaica, they were very friendly in helping him on and off the boat. I can’t find good answers in Key West, only “we can’t” type of answers, and no answers in Nassua. Does anyone have any info on good operators in either of those locations for accessible snorkeling?

I do not have personal travel experience with either location but as a registered nurse, I’d be willing to bet you will have a much tougher time getting assistance in the U.S. as policies likely prohibit such assistance due to fear of liability issues. Just my guess.

I was able to find somebody in Hawaii, Saint Croix, St. Lucia, and Antigua, and Puerto Rico. But I had to call a lot of places before I was able to talk somebody into helping me. I would just keep trying phone numbers and explaining to people exactly what you need help with. One company was nice enough to send me photos of exactly their ladder of their ship, and their set up to see if it would work for me. I believe that one was in St. Lucia. So not the United States. But of course, Puerto Rico Hawaii And St. Croix I think is in the US. Good luck!

I found this on Pennekamp state park website. It looks like if you can help him in an of the water, then they have a vessel you could do. Their status not allowed to help though. Here is a link
