That just because I am in a power wheelchair doesnโ€™t mean that Iโ€™m in capable of taking care of myself I am completely self-sufficient

I want my husband to retire so we can travel, etc. My disease is progressive and degenerative.

It is important to me that we actually DO the things that I was promised we would do unless it is absolutely impossible due to circumstances beyond our control.

Same here. I live in a major tourist state so finding quiet times to do fun things can be a challenge.

Patience. Listen to me when I am speaking. Donโ€™t talk over me.

If we plan ahead I will be able to do most thing but if we wait until the last moment there will be things I cannot do

Me too and it can make dining out very difficult. At least the larger theme parks seem to understand the issue and have options (or the chef come out and talk to you) But sometimes it causes a longer wait for food and not everyone likes or understands that.
